A major decision is now to be made as the next thing you need is the car. The 750 Trophy has three main classes of car eligible for racing. Each class has its own trophies.

Class A There are quite a number of awards in each race as it runs as a series and not a Championship. This Class is the Historic Austin 7 class and therefore uses to a great extent the main components of the pre-1939 Austin 7. The modifications allowed keep the cars more or less in period except for power-train internals.

Class C can use a chassis as Class B but also the A7 chassis can be replaced by longitudinal box sections. A Class C car can also be a pre-1974 750 Formula car without the wings.

Class D Is historic 500cc racing cars which conform to the Eligibility and Originality Regulations of the 500 Owners' Association for the current year.

For more detailed information on the specifications of each class see the regulations section.
